embossing n cutting!!

K, I'm in love... I'm truly loving my pasta machine... She a very good purchase [25 @ Ares] sweet! It embosses, die cuts and of course claying! :)

I swear trying out my new butterfly dies is a great thing! BF is like u don't have to buy the machine?!? We saw the revolutions which is sweet looking [love the chrome and black colors... combo].

they're coming with the Love Machine [video] which is still in prototype.. I think it will be coming out in October and hopefully not that noisy. Oh, yeah its motorized! but I have my cutter which is fine... and now that I re-invented my pasta machine... I no longer need a machine at all... yah! but still thinking if I should... heee... me and my shoppingness!

I used some of the line paper that I got at the dollar store and the other gold one from Costco! I love Costco, they sometimes carry really cute styles of paper... I got the ones that were handmade... sweet... I also have when they had the 300sheets for $20 about 2yrs ago... that was a great purchase! And let's not forget my scissors [all different kinds of cutting to be done w/ them] and my punches which are being used for claying! I need to get my hands on some punches and I think I have become addicted to dies, stamps and inks... sheesh... let's not tell bf... he'll have a cow! though he's a trouper now... heee... helps me when I go to scrapbook stores and seeks out good bargains... hee... I thought I need a friend [which none of my friends are into this, too busy life is moving at a faster speed w/ them...]. I still am single/attached and no kids... but kitties do keep us busy...

I spend most of yesterday watching crafty vids @ utube and updating my p-blog. Read peeps blogs... Slept 5hrs in the afternoon... sweet nap! :)

It's too freaken humid to do much... I feel sticky... yuk! The clay is like too soft to work with, I wanted to try out the origami vid I saw! I guess I have to wait on that!

Thinking that I've been bloging for like 5yrs now... heee... and well, I met some great peeps... Some have remain in my life others have completely dissapear... Anyways, this should go in my p-blog not here...

Up North Shopping

Driving to L to find the new SB store... It has stuff that the others I've been too don't have... Like the alcohol inks which I got... saw the baby blue embossing powder which hopefully its cute... Which it will be... hee... What am I saying...

The stickers that I cannot seem to prevent myself from not buying... hee... Those painted w/ Sakura pens! I sing "AAAAMMAAAZZIIINNNGGG!"

Saw the butterfly embossing/diecut that I was youtubing: erinmichele "2 in 1 Cuttlebug Dies". Saw she was talking about that and I had to get it... Gosh... Now, I will be searching for the flower petal ones... I love her IKEA scrapbooking table... nya!!!

And let's not forget the foil tape for my future project who got me thinking: Simply Swank Simply Solder Creative Art Kit Reported by Julia Stainton. Now I just need to go on a search for a soldering Iron... Hee...

Searching....

Been looking and reading many, many blogs [louise emily ala pause Connie Babbert]... a few have caught my fancy... left a few msgs... Looking for SU stamps, finally found out what SU was [heee], dang was it like time consuming! Anyhoo, downloaded the Stampin' Up Catalogue... Now I need to find where to freaken' purchase all those goodies from! OMG! totally fun! These suckers will be used for stamping my clay... oooh goodies...

Still haven't used my really expensive cutter... Want to use the diamond tip on engravings, soon... Can't wait... But I'm all over the place... Damn, woman that I am... Geeze-louise! OOh, saw some free templates [which come with my cutter's software but still] worth it @ MirkWoodDesigns [flower card]. All thanks to the Mel Stampz blog post.

Haven't really done much today except look and look, watch videos... OOh, learned how to make a pastry bag and pansies from Martha Stewart! :) Oh, the cute umbrellas are great... Watched a few cake making and icing decorations videos, too... Gots to get on the claying and make some of those pretty cakes in miniature size!

Reading about how to care for your stamps @ BlockHeads via MelStampz:CheapTricks. saw this on a forum "DIY faux-stitching Template & Middle-sized Mirkwood flower" it's not the first time I came by it... :) She also, talked about ATG gun which had to google it to find out what it was and it reminds me of the tape gun [much bigger] that my bf has to tape boxes... That is a nice baby to have... :) I wonder where to get my hands on one. that'll be another 2-3hr search...

Found a distributor of 3M Scotch tape called NHS but don't know for sure if they sell to the public or to companies... Need to call them... :) Sweet they ship to CANADA! Nice! Sometimes those are the downfalls of living here and not following the fam down under... heee...

I also found a place to buy Shrink film... Had found a place but they only sale to big companies... :( bwaaa, I wanna cry... I wanted to buy that big-ass roll!! Want to start using it... Apparently Wal-Mart may have it... I'm going shopping soon... heee...

Crap, need to find that Origami book I got in SanFran... :)

Things to remember:
Scor Pal $39.95

Get me some Reinkers from SU! :) There's also this site A1 Stamps, I love this "A Woman Owned/Operated Business!"
I started thinking will my pasta machine work doing embossing and die cutting? Well, tried embossing with my machine and it did a pretty well job... Check out my tries... I need to get me some die cuts to try it... The cheap way is the best way to go! :)
Here are a few pictures of how I tested my theory...

Note: I put it on the last roller thingy and then slowly passed it through.

I used some of the pearl-ex/varnish on the paper from my flower tutorial... Will get my hands on some of those dies pretty soon... Off I go....

Ellison Die Cuts

Ellison is a company that sells alls sorts of stuff... But what I'm interested is their die-cuts which can be used with the Sizzix, Ellison Design, or Ellison Prestige Machines. I prefer the roll models of the Ellison Prestige Machines. I'm still looking for a good machine... Read a review from Paper Trufflez and still have no idea which one. I guess I'll have to research it for a longer period of time...

a video of nice pretty daisies of Ellison Die cuts... :)
