The last buy of the day was Mastercraft stuff:- Soldering Iron 58-6305-4 [18]
- flux acid-free [3.95]
- solid wire solder [15]
- snap off knife 57-5024-0 [2.99]
Almost there... I just need the jump rings and glass... HD or R...
Looking all over the place for that stuff... Asked 2 guys working there... The first one was like oh, look in the 4,5,6 isle... heee.. Nothing, went on the search for another helper... Saw 3 peeps there, and asked where I could find a soldering iron... they were like 'huh', here I was thinking you people work here what the hell do you do? I had to explain to the guy what it was used for, he says a big 'OOOH.' He takes me to where these big machines are. I was like no, I need a hand held one, he's like 'hold on, let me ask him', there was this other employee finishing up w/ someone... Then the 2 come over and are explaining to me that the big machine is for soldering blah, blah, blah. I'm like no way. then I spot them on the far left of me. I'm like 'this is the one, I was talking about' they both look at each other and bing a light switch is turned on... they're in unison 'ooooh.' Then one of the bright idiots tells me his mother uses that to stain glass on church windows... All I thought was damn idiots made me go mental and loony for like 20 min.! AAAArrrrrggg... But then I relaxed and while looking at some toolboxes. My eyes wondered to the isle of bits... There I found the snap off knife '57-5024-0', need to remember those numbers for replacing the blades... And for the soldering iron too to replace the tip... :) So, buying a soldering iron was a total freaken crazy experience. Now thinking about it, it was funny!
